Media 4 Humanity has operated successfully for nine years without a structured budget. Simply put, this is a miracle.
Our founders and volunteers are the primary funders. Pure efficiency and an active solicitation of free goods and volunteer services have enabled us to stretch $5K cash raised into $100K worth of self-empowerment programs in 2004.
Since then, we've averaged $10K/yr in individual and corporate donations as well as from our small fundraising parties. Further, our committed interns do most of the administrative work. Board members and volunteers also absorb most of the operating expenses.
We are proud of our record and resourcefulness, but we now need your help to continue the charitable work we started. Our Children in Chains campaign in particular demands greater resources of time and money. As human trafficking has no surpassed guns and drugs as the world's number one crime, the need to support our cause has become urgent.
