Founder’s Message

“I was inspired to start Media 4 Humanity when I was on a CNN assignment in 2000. While reporting from Bangladesh, I was stunned to witness slavery with my own eyes.

When I learned that kids here in America are also vulnerable to traffickers, I decided to focus both my charity and my life on fighting for their freedom.

I believe there is no justification for slavery’s persistence within our borders. We must act to uphold our ideals of freedom, a privilege for which my own father fought. We must not tolerate human trafficking anywhere, here or abroad.”
