Media 4 Humanity
Fighting Child Trafficking in the United States
*El-Anzi, Freih Owayed, 2005
Unfortunately, many schools, like Community School (C.S.) 134 in the Bronx, lack adequate educational resources like paper, pencils, books, a playground, a gym and even toilet paper!Almost all of the children receive free lunch because they are below poverty level. Many are recent African/Caribbean/Latin American immigrants, at least one a refugee from war-torn African country of Sierra Leone.
That is why Media 4 Humanity adopted C.S. 134 in the Bronx in 2005. M4H plans to adopt more public schools in other economically challenged US cities as resources increase.
